There are three main factors to every singles game in handball and once all three are master they will give any player good court control which isn't easy by far. The three factors are The Serve, the Return, and the Rally. Each of these things can make or break a player of any caliber. My advise is to do your best to master each of the three as best as you can. The Serves is the first step to every game it can give you points, set your opponent up for a easy kill , or you can get yours self down. Now you remember you have two chances to make a good serve in this game if you make a long or a short serve or a combination of the two its over. In easier terms you have to make two faults in a row without completing one good serve. So make ever serve count and make your serve as difficult as possible for your opponent. If your opponent wants to play you make it hard for them to make a return or give your self a easy set up shot. Some say that Ace serves waste to much energy in the game but not every one see it that way. Returns If you are on the receiving end of the Serve you must know this a weak return gives your opponent points. A strong return will mess up his plane of attack against you and may be even take him down. There are many different ways you can return the ball. You can try a hard and fast passing shot, kill shot by angle or straight ahead of you , or can lob the ball high towards the long line so your opponent gets a difficult shot. Each of these choices gives you different out comes you as the player must know at what time which of these is best for you. Game Rallies If the game progress past the serve and the return a rally begins. Now this is sometimes long and taxing for both parties or it can be short. Now rallies are done when your opponent is starting to be a little stubborn and doesn't want to give up. This happens very often because he or she doesn't want to lose like yourself. You have to punish them as much as possible. If they want to get your shot you can do a passing shot, kill shot, or attack there weak hand what ever is hardest for them to get. This decision is left to you to make.
